Thadz Spoke at Lexmark's WeBlog Event

The Wonderful Cebu Blog has gone a long way since it published it's first article some years back. Proof of this is the fact that as a blog author, I have been invited to speak at several events, assigned a key position in a local blogging organization, and been pitched to run several campaigns and sponsored posts on the blog.

Recently, I was invited to speak at the WeBlog forum, a learning session about food, travel, and photography blogging organized by the Lexmark Hub, which functions like an online publication for Lexmark employees. The forum was done at the LP 1 activity area at the 10th floor of Lexmark Plaza 1 at Cebu Business Park in Cebu City, Philippines. This was done last 15 April 2016.

There were two (2) sessions with three (3) resource persons for each schedule. The first session was at 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Speaking at that session was Cebu's social media queen Chanel Marie Imperial, Exotic Philippines blogger Gay Aida Dumaguing, photographer Raul Casia from the Lexmark Photography Club, and award-winning blogger Brennan Mercado of Baktin Corporation.

The evening session was scheduled for 8:00 to 10 :00 p.m. In that schedule, I spoke about travel blogging and using blogging to advance my team building services. Joining me for the nightcap was Cebu's top food blogger Carlo Andrew Olano of Kalami Cebu who talked about food blogging and Oslec Arsua from the Lexmark Photography Club who talked about the 1, 2, 3's and A, B, C's of photography.

Although there were only a few employees who attended the forum where I spoke, we had fun sharing what we know about blogging. And we hope we have helped encourage and inspire some of the aspiring bloggers in the audience.
